Adobe CS2 is now free

Okay pirates, you don't need to steal Adobe Photoshop anymore. They're giving it away for free on their website. All you have to do is register.

If you're the glass half-full kind of person, this is great news. You get the entire CS2 suite, including Photoshop. Even this version of Photoshop will be able to do most of the things you need from a photo editing program, just not the fancy new stuff like healing brushes and junk like that.

If you're the glass is half-empty kind of person, CS2 is something like eight years old. And oh the hassle, you have to register? It's also for older Macs and PCs, which yours probably isn't, but if it is, you're in luck.

Head on over to adobe.com for the download.

UPDATE: So it wasn't free after all! It was all an accident. But a happy one. Read about it here.

I was just contemplating the hefty amount of 100k for a CS6 suite and I come across this. This would have to do :) Thanks for the heads up!

If you've got a newer computer, there's always Photoshop Elements!
