I never liked the V1 because, in a nutshell, it gave you a smaller sensor at the same expensive price, but I have to admit that the pictures that the V1 takes actually seem quite good. Now Nikon has updated the camera and announced the V2. It's a 14-megapixel shooter capable of 15 frames per second, and it still has that hybrid autofocus system. We'll see how much the image quality has improved around November, when this camera will be released. What we know so far is that the V2 looks like it fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down. Ergonomics my foot. It's hideous!
