iOS 4? i SO unhappy

Recently updated my iPhone 3G to iOS 4. Slow. So slow. I feel like I'm underwater. Simple SMS takes forever. Even playing music has a noticeable delay. Bleugh.

All this for what? Folders, threaded emails, editable playlists, blah blah. All very nice, but jeez, if you're going to slow my phone down like this, Apple, give me that multi-tasking thing that's on the 3GS and 4G.

I've heard all's well with iPhone 3GS users, but regardless, Apple products are just supposed to work. You broke my phone, Apple people, WTF.

So that's how the Dyson Air Multiplier works...

I've been drooling over this amazing "electric fan" by Dyson. If it's your first time to see it, the Air Multiplier is a fan without blades -- and without the buffeting effect that comes with fans with blades. Amazing stuff. And it looks bloody gorgeous. I've always thought that electric fans are the ugliest appliances in any home.

Not another iPad review: Conclusion

Thought I'd just wrap up this iPad review with some sort of conclusion.

Is the iPad that "magical" device that Steve Jobs has been calling it? You betcha. It really is something. Reading Wired on it, or checking the news every morning on the iPad really feels like you stepped into the future. And its uses aren't limited to that. It will be different for everyone, I'm sure, but the device has a remarkable talent for finding a niche to occupy in your life and acting like it owns the place.
