In case you missed it -- and I missed it, hence the lateness of this post -- the iPhone 4 is now available on Globe from a wide variety of plans. Hooray hooray? Wait until you hear how much it costs first.
If you go the prepaid route, the phone will cost you. P37,499 for the 16GB model. P43,699 for 32GB. Ouch. You'll pay less if you get the phone with some kind of plan. It starts to be free at Plan 5000.
Rico Mossesgeld of Technograph has more details here.
If you want to get into the math, Yugatech made an analysis of the pricing on his blog, which you can check out here.
If you're still interested, you can register with Globe and get in line for your new iPhone 4 here.
As for moi, I'm hanging on to my iPhone 3G despite growing more and more discontent with it every day. If you want a cheap solution, check out the Peel 520 in another post of mine. With it, you can turn your cheap iPod (around P16K) into a phone. But I'm warning you. It ain't pretty.
